Trying to get my 360 controller working properly with DIPRIP and it's a no go so far.

I can get analog freelook support by going into the Options->Mouse->Enable the gamepad

However there is no analog control for steering and throttle. In fact by default there is no steering control at all. If I use the Keyboard options to assign Steer Left/Right and Accel/Brake to the left stick directions, it only provides digital control.

Here's what the console says about the controller at startup and when I do the Options->Mouse->Enable the gamepad step.



There are advanced joystick console commands but from messing around with them they don't appear to have any effect.

I'm in the same boat as well... (using a logitech gamepad)

Maybe they didn't get analog controls working for this version. I did a search on posts and I only see a mention of "experimenting" with it.

This mod really needs analog control!

We will do default key mapping for pads as soon as possible, but analog throttle and steering will not work for now.

are you using a wired xbox controller ??
you need a wireless 1 and a xbox pc reciever that will work no probs
left joytick for drive the car, bit delicate an harder to drive but works fine for me
jus dont forget to press the lickle button on the front of the pad lolz after the reciever starts flashing
then sit back an enjoy ..............no wires lmao

How for can the Xbox 360 wireless adapters radius cover? I want to buy one so I can finally hook up Xbox Live, but I want to know how far the wireless adapter can reach because my computer and 360 are pretty far apart. Thanks.
